Do you gift wrap ?

Girl with teddy & boxesYes. We have a fabulous choice of different gift wrap for our presents, which costs $4.95 for the first gift and $2.50 for all other gifts in the same order. You can select this option during the checkout process and also add a handwritten card for $2.75. It looks as good as if you have done it yourself. Or better.

Should I add a birthday card with my present ?

Even if you buy a really cool present, or particularly brilliant toy, they still want a card - unreasonable but true. Our cards are hand written so it makes the present nicer and more personal.

How will the child know who this present came from ?

You can include a card with your own message that we hand write.  Plus every parcel always includes a special Wicked Uncle Thank You postcard with your name and address already on it.  So gratitude comes included!

Where's my parcel?

Orders for our presents placed before 4pm Monday-Friday are dispatched the same day and Standard Delivery normally takes 3-5 working days.  Please note we do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays, or Holidays, so anything ordered after 4pm Friday will normally be dispatched on Monday. 

For any delivery problem, please let us know within 7 days.  Since carriers sometimes leave parcels with neighbours in in a Safe Place, please check if this has happened.  We have also known forgetful partners to take in parcels and hide them.

What is your Returns Policy ?

In addition to your legal rights, you can return goods if you simply change your mind within 30 days of purchase. We ask you to cover the cost of postage for returning an unwanted present.  If there is a problem with any of our products or our service, please let us know and we will sort it out.

How do I return something?

You don't have to fill out forms or get a returns number. Please include your name, telephone number and email so we know who sent it. It is useful to get proof of postage. Our address is:

Do you put an invoice in the package you send out ?

No. You only receive an Order Confirmation by email, with all the details. We do not put any paperwork in the box, because most of our presents go straight to the child which saves you doing all the work - that is what Wicked Uncle is all about. As well as being the best place to buy Brilliant Children's Presents.

Can you deliver packages to more than one address ?

No, each order can only go to a single delivery address. We used to do it, but it was over-complicated and prone to error. So we made it simple. But we can keep all your details so placing two separate orders is really fast.

How do I know this child will like the present?

Because we put a huge amount of effort into choosing our presents and finding toys, games and unusual gifts which children like and which they - and we - think are fun.  We go to toy shows, we talk to lots of toy inventors, we ask them and we even ask parents what toys girls and boys really like. Trust us, we know.  And if he or she already has our brillliantly chosen present, tell us and we will change it.  How cool is that?

Our Birthday Reminder Service - how does it work ?

If you buy something from the 6 year old boys' toys section, we assume the birthday is imminent. We then send you a reminder at about the same time next year to buy a present for a 7 year old boy. We also put clever age-related present suggestions into the email.  And you can enter all the birthdays you can think of in the Reminders in My Account.

Do you ship toys to Europe or abroad ?

No, we only send packages within the USA at present. We hope to add Canada shortly.  However our sister company www.wickeduncle.co.uk do deliver in the UK.

Why do you have Boy and Girl categories ?

So people can find what they are looking for faster.  We separate age and gender to make it easier for our customers to select a present  Many presents are in both genders, but our age categories are sorted by popularity and this is very different for Boys & Girls.  The order of popularity is determined solely by our customers' purchases.

If people do not want to buy the popular items, because they are 'too pink', then there is is still an excellent choice of presents available - they are just further down the page.  If something is in one gender section, but not in another, it is almost certainly because we have tried it and it didn't sell, it just wasn't a popular choice.

If you would rather see all the presents in an age category, just select "All" and then choose the age.

How do you use the information you collect ?

We use the information for the purpose of fulfilling your orders and reminding you about birthdays.  We also send emails out on a regular basis with details of new and interesting stuff and reminding you about important events, like the Holiday Season.
