You cannot pick them up, they don't harden and it was saddening after my daughter told her friends about the present and they built up anticipation and we were sorely UNDERWHELMED.Our Response:We're sorry you feel this way. They aren't "steel bubbles", they are called "Bubbles of Steel" to be cheeky. We play with them in the office and have a grand time. It sounds as though you didn't give them the few seconds they need to harden properly. Please try using them according to directions and we're sure all will be well :-)
